The New Paradigm Broadcast Network, NPBN, is modernizing television with fresh faces that tell the stories of America's rich cultural diversity. NPBN's Digital Media Academy is reaching out to producers and new talent from every heritage with the commitment to ensure that undiscovered voices with inspiring untold stories are given the opportunity to shine.
Our Digital Media Academy will not just incubate new talent, it will give rising young stars the opportunity to showcase their skills on broadcast television as well as on the NPBN interactive website. In this way, NPBN will develop programming that engages an entire community of producers, television viewers, and web-goers. Together we'll create hit shows with the support of NPBN's Digital Media Academy partnerships.
The Digital Media Academy will:
PARTNER with schools, colleges, and universities through their media and journalism departments, film schools and other departments to work directly with students who are seeking a venue to display their vision and content. We will also work with organizations and associations who's goals align with our diversity empowerment mission.
CREATE the next generation of leaders in the media and entertainment industry by producing a new and diverse workforce with the highest level of skill and leadership in production, new media technology, TV and Radio broadcasting, business development and law.
DEVELOP interactive platforms to invite the public - and home universities - to identify new talent and programming to be showcased on the network.
REVERSE the trend of fewer minority faces and voices on network television. Its content will be developed by a diverse group of students and other newcomers.
FACILITATE the sharing of content directly between young artists and interested communities.
